Fearless Fred is Found! Winner of the competition is announced
In the search to find a not-so-superhero, No Fear Extreme Energy drink has found its ‘Fearless Fred’ in 24 year old Ian Beverley, from Byker, Newcastle.
To win the competition – looking for someone with a give-it-a-go attitude, who could show how they had NO FEAR - Ian uploaded a video of himself onto the Fearless Fred website, which demonstrated exactly why he is fearless, with a variety of BMX tricks and stunts.
Beating off the other 320 entrants, by scoring a massive 865 votes, means that Ian will be whisked off to experience a once-in-a lifetime adventure to face fears on land, sea and air, in LAS VEGAS!
Ian said: “I love everything about BMX and enjoy shocking people with my jumps and even my falls. I really didn’t expect to win, I still can’t believe it.
Ian added: “All the activities involved in the prize are things I’ve always dreamt of doing, let alone going to Las Vegas. I’ve never even left the country, so going to Las Vegas is going to be an amazing experience for me and my girlfriend, who I’m taking with me.”
Ian won two return flights to Las Vegas and five nights accommodation in a top hotel, during which time they’ll get to show the world they have No Fear by taking part in a set of fearless challenges - including driving a NASCAR, taking on the white water rapids of the Grand Canyon, skydiving 16,000 feet and will ride the biggest rollercoaster Vegas. They will also get £1,000 spending money!
