| Counting down until St David's Week in SwanseaDon your daffodil, dragon hat, leek or best Welsh costume and head to Swansea for St David’s Week! It’s just over one week to go until the celebrations start on 25 February.
By: City and County of Swansea St David’s Week starts with a fantastic concert with Wynne Evans in the Brangwyn Hall on 25 February. Famous as the singer in the Go Compare adverts, Wynne will be accompanied by Morriston Orpheus Choir. Watch live 6 Nations rugby, Ireland v Italy and England v Wales on the Big Screen before the concert. Get Welsh returns to Castle Square on 25 and 26 February with stage entertainment between 10am – 4pm. Featuring food and drink stalls and cooking demonstrations. Get your dancing shoes on ready for the St David’s Big Band Ballroom Dance on 26 February and watch two Welsh films for free in the Brangwyn Hall on 28 February and 1 March. Glorious singing continues with the Saint, Songs and Celebrations concert on 29 March featuring 200 school children and dance on Welsh style with Jac y Do on 2 March in a traditional Twmpath.
