Feb. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Thakoon has presented his latest collection for FW 2012-13 at the New York Fashion Week.

Thakoon latest collection is more sophisticated with ladylike shapes, which included everything from shift dresses with neon beam prints to basket weave leather details. A few surprising elements like bow back skirts, bare back halters, and heart and lip silk jacquard fabrics which added a youthful twist to the collection. Camel and heather grey were combined with intense eye-popping colors like fuchsia, raspberry and cherry.

Thakoon is a fashion label who is influenced by urban life and music. Although each collection varies from the next, they are always elegant and romantic. The line is minimalist style is in fact very sophisticated and uses a wide variety of pretty materials to add detail to his dresses, tops and skirts, producing very refined detailing.

Thakoon Panichgul is an American fashion designer born in Thailand. He studies at Parsons School of Design from 2001 to 2003. Shortly after, he created his label Thakoon, a funky mark aimed at a younger clientele. Since his debut in 2004, Panichgul has charmed the especially the audience at the New York Fashion Week, season after season.
