Mash-Up Of America’s Got Talent, Facebook and YouTube Forges It’s Own Path, Gives Away Amazing Prizes and Shot at Viral Fame to Winners

(New York) Andy Warhol once said "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." With the launch of the new website and social media platform LoadnVote.com, the future is here.

Billed as the premier source for visual media competition on the net, the scrappy start-up contest site invites visitors of all ages and interests to compete in head-to-head competitions by uploading videos, pictures, and other media to gain exposure and win prizes, from an exotic all expenses paid vacation to Mexico to a $50 Petco gift card.

Contests range from musical and singing talent, athletic tricks, original short films, celebrity look-alikes, artistic creations, animals, political cartoons, and many more to choose from that may or may not require an actual “talent”.

Examples of some of the competitions currently available on LoadNVote.com are a "Write the Caption Contest" for a photo, which is somehow receiving the most traffic, despite the "Unique Talent" and "Peak of the Party Original Picture" competitions.

Combining the best qualities of television reality shows like “America’s Got Talent”, video portals YouTube and VIMEO and social networking giant Facebook, the new LoadNVote.com is already attracting impressive traffic numbers, dozens of college interns around the country, and funding from investment firm Canrock Ventures.   “The difference with LoadNVote.com is that unlike TV competitions, everyone can enter; you don’t need to be chosen.  “And, unlike YouTube, for example, you can actually win cool prizes if you get the most votes on our site,” says LoadNVote’s Matt Waxman.  LoadNVote’s third partner Maxx Yellin adds  "It’s a great opportunity for people who have unique talents; you could win great prizes, but even if you don't, it's still a new outlet for you to express yourself and gain exposure."
