The meet and greet will be held at the Mahon campaign office located at 430 East 162nd Street South Holland, Illinois 60473 on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00p.m.

Since Patricia “Pat” Mahon announced her candidacy on November 9, 2012 she has hit the ground running. If there is a singular issue facing the 15th Senate District it is the need for economic development and job creation. As this campaign unfolds you will see that Pat is the candidate of choice—the only candidate with hands on experience in municipal government as a village administrator overseeing a balanced budget without sacrificing the delivery of essential public services, working as part of a team that has a proven track record of bringing businesses to the region and creating an economic environment for those business to thrive. Pat was born and raised on the south side of Chicago in the Robert Taylor Homes and the West Pullman area. Pat and her husband, Patrick have lived in South Holland for twenty-one years.

As state senator Pat will bring her proven record of protecting and creating jobs to Springfield, making sure state contracts go to Illinois companies first, and she’ll work to reform the school funding system to ensure our schools get their fair share of resources and reduce the property tax burden on 15 district residents.
