Alejandra G Shoe Designer Launches New Collection

Feb. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Alejandra G has officially launched her luxurious and unique shoe collection, self titled Alejandra G. Alejandra’s foray into shoe design positions her as a bit of a fashion outsider, However, her story of how she became what will soon be one of the most prestigious shoe designers is a fantastic story of determination and persistence.  Alejandra G is sure to beguile the fashion world with her brilliant mix of textures, colors and drop-dead glamour.  Not to mention her patented Black and white striped sole, making her shoes identifiable, unique and daring. She has brought her initial collection alive by putting everything she believes makes shoes unique and sexy. Alejandra, truly believes accessories are the “heart and sole” to a woman’s outfit.

The Los Angeles native was born to humble roots- but not for long- as her fathers work ethic and success would set the tone for how she approached everything in her life. Although Alejandra has had much success as a TV producer for BET and Telemundos, she still had many dreams she wanted to pursue. About five years ago- Alejandra was inspired and began sketching shoes, as she is a true shoe aficionado. True to her nature, she started calling around asking if any of her connections knew anyone who would be willing to connect her to someone to look at her shoe sketches. As always when Alejandra has something in her sites nothing would stop her from making this connection happen. As fortune would have it, she was led to Joe Ouaknine from Titan an industry, who incidentally, is a Titan in the footwear industry. He agreed to a meeting. Where Alejandra took this opportunity and presented him with her ideas and sketches, Her designs were both bold and beautiful. However very ambitious and somewhat impossible to mass-produce. He was so impressed by her enthusiasm - he decided then and there to take Alejandra under his wing and made a deal with her- He immediately sent her to China to work in his factory for two weeks. Where she was to be immersed in the production process, He wanted her to experience first hand this was hard work and not all glamour. Upon her return she was in love and knew her career choice had been made. Alejandra knew she needed to take the next step in order to technically advance. Joe recommended her to the highly acclaimed and prestigious school in Milan Italy the Ars Suttoria, School. Ms G set off to Italy for a four month intensive where she would fine-tune her abilities she had the privilege of being trained by some of the world’s most skilled artisans. Here is where she began conceiving her own label, She is proud to debut her very first Alejandra G collection. A heady mix of textured heels and magnetic style, which will make her entrée an immediate success.
She is sure to gain notoriety for her exceptionally crafted footwear, which the fashion industry will be sure to become loyal followers.  As The AG brand will be a unexpected discovery, offering women that blissful happy moment when the perfect, shoe is revealed and adored forever
