-- After working in the theater casting business as an assistant for 10 years, Amber Anders, ventured out on her own in Hollywood. She specialized in supplying the smaller parts needed in the myriad of shows produced every year in Gotham. "I cut my teeth on doing what the big casting agents did not want to do", she said. "I now plan to do the exact same thing for films and television. Casting is casting. You get the vision the director has, and then you send actors to him/her that fit that vision."
Her main focus was the off Broadway plays that get overlooked by the bigger agencies. She began her career as a bit player in many of those shows that many people never heard of. She also cast many plays and musicals outside of the Big Apple. Annie, Gypsy, A Chorus Line, and Streetcar Named Desire are some of them.
She will soon be approved for membership in the casting organization, Casting Society of America, CSA. Until that time, she is looking for newer talent in all areas of the industry. Actors, singers, models, and specialty acts. Video clips are helpful also of any film work actors have done.
