REVA Foods Wins Four Awards including the coveted Golden Chile at the 2012 Fiery Food Challenge

Feb. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Reva Foods is proud to announce that they received four awards at the recent ZestFest 2012 show in Irving, Texas.  

On January 27, 2012, the most prestigious awards in the fiery food industry were given at the 2012 Fiery Food Challenge Awards fete in Irving, Texas and Reva Foods left with four honors!  Dennis’ Habanero Ketchup – Hot, won first place and took home the coveted Golden Chile Award trophy!  Dennis’ Chipotle Ketchup took second place in the condiments - ketchup category; Dennis’ Sweemotle BBQ Sauce received second place honors in the BBQ sauce – molasses based category; and Dennis’ Cherry Habanero BBQ Sauce took home third place in the BBQ sauce – fruit category.  

The Fiery Foods Challenge, an annual competition sponsored by The Dallas Morning News and produced by Spicy Foods Productions, pit 704 spicy food products against one another in 104 categories. Professional judges evaluate hundreds of sauces, salsas, condiments, and other spicy treats in blind taste tests and awarded first, second, and third place prizes in each category. Awards winners then have a chance to show off their prize winning products to the general public at ZestFest, a spicy, zesty food show held in conjunction with the Fiery Food Challenge at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas and featured 150 vendors from all over the country.

Dennis’ line of products has won a total of nineteen awards including two Scovie Awards, nine Hot Pepper Awards, five Fiery Food Challenge Awards and numerous other recognitions.  Reva Foods is a locally owned and run company that provides its customers with all natural, specialty BBQ sauces, gourmet ketchups, salsas, and dry rubs.
