Allinea adds spark to debugging with Allinea DDT 3.1

Feb. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Allinea Software today announced the release of the latest version of Allinea DDT, version 3.1 and a set of novel features designed to both simplify and enable debugging of parallel and multithreaded applications.

1) Sparklines – a new zero-click graphical comparison across processes that automatically show data values across processes.
2) New offline mode allowing you to debug while you sleep – ideal for those machines that are hard to get interactive time on at scale.
3) Scalable tracepoints that provide a fast and scalable alternative to using printf/write for debugging.
4) Always-on static analysis – for auto-detection of common programming errors.
5) Support for Co-array Fortran and UPC.
6) Support for NVIDIA CUDA 4.0 and 4.1 toolkits – within days of NVIDIA's CUDA 4.1 toolkit release.
