Jan. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Last Tuesday, Barrack Obama gave his 2012 State of the Union address.  We can ask, was the speech optimistic or pessimistic.  My answer is that it was full of not only full hope, but optimism.  The optimism is reflected in praise for past accomplishments, a focus on new opportunities that arise out of any setback, a call for hard work and effort, and his commitment to keep working hard on behalf of the American people.

Since everyone likes to coin a new word using the name "Obama" in it, I will do the same.  We have for example ObamaCare, and after you read this article you will know what Obamatamism is.

•    Obamatamisim: The optimism of President Barrack Obama!

Ten Quotes of Obama Optimism  (These are all direct quotes from the full transcript of his 2012 State of the Union address)

2.    For the first time in two decades, Osama bin Laden is not a threat to this country.

3.    We have a huge opportunity, at this moment, to bring manufacturing back

4.    We bet on American workers. We bet on American ingenuity. And tonight, the American auto industry is back.

5.    I want every American looking for work to have the same opportunity as Jackie did. Join me in a national commitment to train two million Americans with skills that will lead directly to a job.

6.    Our workers are the most productive on Earth, and if the playing field is level, I promise you - America will always win.

7.    Teachers matter. So instead of bashing them, or defending the status quo, let's offer schools a deal. Give them the resources to keep good teachers on the job, and reward the best ones

8.    An economy built to last, where hard work pays off, and responsibility is rewarded.

9.    We should support everyone who's willing to work; and every risk-taker and entrepreneur who aspires to become the next Steve Jobs.

10.    America remains the one indispensable nation in world affairs - and as long as I'm President, I intend to keep it that way.
