Follow on Google News | ‘Ohana Health Plan Selected by Hawai'i to Serve QUEST Medicaid Program‘Ohana Health Plan (‘Ohana), a health plan offered by WellCare Health Insurance of Arizona, Inc., announced that it has been selected by the Hawai‘i Department of Human Services to serve members of Hawai‘i’s QUEST program.

We are grateful for this privilege and look forward to working with the state to increase access and quality of care for Hawai‘i’s residents.” ‘Ohana is one of five health plans selected to serve approximately 230,000 QUEST beneficiaries. The QUEST program serves non-disabled children, pregnant women and adults younger than 65 years old by providing Medicaid state plan benefits through comprehensive managed care plans. Services are expected to begin on or about July 1, 2012, and ‘Ohana will coordinate medical, behavioral and pharmacy services for members across the entire state. The award is conditioned on the execution of a definitive contract. ‘Ohana currently serves approximately 26,000 Hawai‘i residents through its Aged, Blind, and Disabled Medicaid and Medicare Advantage Plans. # # # ‘Ohana is a health plan offered by WellCare Health Insurance of Arizona, Inc.
