Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Your dog is your best friend-through thick and thin he never leaves your side or your feet. He listens to you laugh, complain, and cry. Your dog follows you wherever you go and if he could he’d follow you to work everyday and anywhere else you travel any given day. He spends his day waiting for you to come home and give him your love. And no matter what-he will always be there for you. You owe it to your cuddly canine to learn his language. Now that doesn’t mean you need to learn how to bark like a dog, but if you pay attention you’ll learn to recognize what his needs and wants are. While humans are born to communicate through the spoken word adds Patricia Pergamint, your dog will let you know what he needs through a bark or a growl. Some dogs will even let out a big sigh when they’re bored or a yelp if they’re hurting. You can even tell if you’re puppy is having a dream-he’ll make some yelping sounds gibing you a heads up that he is dreaming. You won’t know whether your pup is having a nightmare or a good ream, but you will know that he is dreaming by the sounds he’s making during his night time slumber. One thing you can do for your puppy is make sure he has some family time with you.  Your dog is much like a child; he needs to spend time with you. You can spend time with your dog by setting some time aside each day to play with your dog or take him for a walk. Do you own more than one dog? Pack walks will keep your pups happy and they’ll get the exercise they need. A happy dog means less chance of behavior problems. Most behavior problems in canines are due to boredom from lack of play time or exercise. If you spend time with your best friend each day, there are no guarantees that you’ll have the perfect pet-but you will have a happier and more content canine. There are all kinds of games you can play with your doggie during play time. If you have a Frisbee, you can teach your puppy how to fetch. Even if you don’t own a Frisbee, a simple stick will do. The idea of spending time with your dog is the most important thing. After all-your dog has been a faithful friend, don’t you owe it to your loyal canine to spend time with him everyday and make sure he receives his daily exercise? Your dog will remain loyal regardless if you choose not to play with him or take him for daily pack walks. But your love is more important than anything you can give him. Give your dog the love he needs today. You can read more by logging on to Patricia Pergament’s  blog-site at: http://www.lovehelpingdogs.com/.
