Heather Fitzenhagen Selected as Board Member of PACE Center for Girls

Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Myers, FL – Local attorney and mediator Heather Fitzenhagen has been selected as a new member of the Board of Directors for the PACE Center for Girls. PACE provides girls and young women throughout Lee County with an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy.

Fitzenhagen is an active volunteer with PACE and was the co-chair for the center’s 2011 annual luncheon, which raised $64,000 for operations and $199,000 toward the capital campaign to open a new school.

“We are privileged to have Heather on our board because of her past commitment to PACE and our mission to help at risk teenage girls,” said PACE Board President Gail Markham, adding that Fitzenhagen will chair the 2012 annual luncheon.

“I’m very excited to step up my involvement with PACE as a board member,” said Fitzenhagen. “PACE is making a tremendous impact in the lives of teen girls and young women in our community. I look forward to helping attain their goal to build a new school and expand services to help all the girls who are in need and deserving of a chance to succeed.”

In addition to her involvement with PACE, Fitzenhagen is a member of the directing boards of the Fort Myers Womens Community Club and Lee County Association for Women Lawyers, a member of the American Heart Assocation Executive Leadership Team, a member of the Tiger Bay Club, and a member of the Hope Hospice Celebration for Women Committee. She is also an active fundraiser for the American Red Cross and a celebrity dancer for StarStruck 2012, the March 24 annual fundraising gala for the Red Cross.

Heather Fitzenhagen is a graduate of Nova Law School and the Harvard Mediation Program, and is the marketing director for the Condo and HOA Law Group, PLLC, with offices in Fort Myers and Naples.
