Navigator SPR Workflow supports the CTS (computer-to-screen) Digital Screen Imager designed for printers requiring fast, high quality screens. Navigator SPR Workflow is based on Xitron’s powerful and robust Navigator Harlequin RIP workflow with features including:

* High performance Harlequin RIP core
* CTS Digital Screen Imager support
* Ability to accept PDF and PostScript™ files
* Line screens up to 75 lpi
* Integrated on-screen soft-proofing

“The CTS Digital Screen Imager brings unequaled print quality and imaging speeds,” stated Mark Diehl, of Douthitt Corporation. “The Navigator SPR workflow offers features that significantly enhance screen printing operations and will provide faster turnaround and a reduction in labor costs.”

“Xitron’s workflows based on the Navigator Harlequin RIP are the standard for customers seeking a reliable, affordable, high performance solution,” stated Mark Eisenschenk, Xitron's President and CEO. “Xitron’s screen printing solutions come from our roots in the commercial and in-plant market where we are a recognized leader in workflow.”

The Navigator SPR RIP Workflow includes Mac and PC client software and support for the CTS Digital Screen Imager. Additional clients are available as well as the ability to support multiple CTS Digital Screen Imagers from a single workflow.

The Navigator SPR workflow incorporates sophisticated on-screen soft-proofing tools that allow the user to see the final processed job. Included is the ability to select the substrate color and to define any color as an opaque, such as a white underbase, so jobs can be viewed accurately on colored substrates.

The integrated soft-proofing viewer is adjustable from 5%-800% magnification, allowing the user to inspect the file in a processed format. Jobs can be viewed as a composite or any combination of single or multiple separations.

The Navigator SPR RIP Workflow will be available through Douthitt Corporation. For additional information on the Navigator SPR RIP Workflow visit the Xitron website at http://www.xitron.com.
