Yokohama Tire gains substantial efficiencies using RFgen Mobile Data Collection

Jan. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- With their new data collection solution, Yokohama Tire Canada will be able to reduce paper usage, speed up warehouse procedures, and accurately complete inventory transfers in their Oracle® JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system quickly, easily and most importantly in real-time.

According to Kyle Butt, Business Systems Analyst at Yokohama, "We originally contemplated a custom in-house solution; however, we soon realized a software suite designed to work with EnterpriseOne will allow us to get up and running more quickly and with a better overall result.  After a thorough consideration of the expected issues building a custom system would generate, our management team selected the RFgen solution.  RFgen’s standard solution offering provided the majority of the functionality that we required out-of-the-box while their existing workflows were easily tailored to fit our unique requirements."
