Renewable Energy - How They Laughed!!

How They Laughed!!! When we said it was possible to reduce your carbon footprint, get a quarterly return and reduce your heating bills. But with the renewable heat incentive and a ground source heating system it really is possible!

Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- With the short dark days of winter really starting to drag and the even darker economic situation it is pleasing that we are able to let you know about something good which is happening!
With a considerable commitment to renewable energy the government is finally offering some help to landlords, businesses and in fact anybody in the commercial world who is keen to make the energy they use greener.
The scheme (The RHI or Renewable Heat Incentive) being introduced will lead to an increase in the uptake of technology such as ground source heating in many sectors. The £860 million pound commitment from the government will increase investment in this kind of technology considerably over the next decade.
We are all beginning to understand that the carbon targets set for UK emissions over the coming century are ambitious and ground Source heating has a major and proven role to play in achieving them.
With a keen eye on your project from design stage through to completion ecofission has the expertise to design and install your system for best results meaning you can reduce your buildings carbon footprint by 45% and reduce running costs for your heating and cooling by as much as 55%.
By installing one of our systems you can guarantee yourself a quarterly return on your investment as follows
Systems below 100kw – 4.3p per KWH
Systems above 100 KW – 3p per KWH
Payments will be made for the next 20 years.
The ecofission team have all praised the arrival of the RHI and Project Director Alan Toms Said “not only does this demonstrate commitment from the government to improve our environment but it also shows commitment to growing the green economy. It will allow businesses such as ours to expand and begin offering employment opportunities to new and experienced members of Britain’s workforce who are currently struggling to find meaningful employment with a real purpose”.

At ecofission we have extensive experience in installing GSHP systems and we believe this move by the government will take Renewable products even closer to parity with the traditional methods of heating and cooling.
The ecofission team have been involved with many differing end users including the Dorchester Hotel Group, 2 Kent Academies constructed by Carillion as part of the BSF scheme, universities, Churches and libraries
The RHI has no limit in the over 100KW category meaning the end user can install a system as large as possible to maximise the ROI and with the scheme running for 20 years there is a real incentive to make the switch whilst reducing concerns over initial investment costs.
Whilst at present the RHI is limited to commercial properties The government has said it will introduce the scheme for domestic users in October 2012 and has undertaken to backdate this for all projects installed post 2009, in addition to prevent the market stalling prior to October it has created a one off payment scheme that will make payments on installations that meet the criteria of circa £1250. ecofission have experience of domestic installations in addition to those mentioned above and our team would be happy to assist if you are interested in improving your green credentials at home.
Ground source heating and cooling systems extract heat from the ground when required and reject it back into the earth when cooling is needed, the external loop is connected to a heat pump which compresses the liquid inside thus magnifying the effects of the ground and rendering it either warm or cool enough to be useful in maintaining a comfortable internal environment.
Air source heat pumps work in a similar way to GSHP’s in as much as they extract heat form the air and then compress it thus raising the temperature to useable levels. An Air Source heat pump can be used to supplement a GSHP system or be installed in a standalone system. For more information please visit our website or contact a member of the team.

With the growing demand for “clean energy “ a Ground Source or Air Source system can satisfy many situations, offering both Heating and Cooling functionality they operate cleanly and safely, require minimal maintenance and the addition of a solar PV or solar thermal array into the system can reduce costs further whilst increasing your buildings green credentials even further.
