Sweet Speeches Unveils Intricate Martin Luther King "In His Own Words" Mosaic

Jan. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Sweet Speeches has unveiled the first of its “In Their Own Words” series of custom mosaic portraits.  The first mosaic, shows the historical figure, Martin Luther King Jr. made entirely out of words from his speeches and sermons.

Users can click on any of the words to be taken to the speech that the word came from, thereby discovering many more of Dr. King’s impressive ideas.  A smaller version of the same interactive mosaic is available via an embed code for use on any website or blog.

Mosaic company, Picture Mosaics created the mosaic, using hundreds of words large and small in all different fonts in order to create an image of Dr. King.  The speeches are used courtesy of The King Center, which has recently re-launched its website and full digital archive with over a million documents related to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
