Service Foods CEO Dr. Keith Kantor Honored with the NPA’s 2012 Industry Champion Award

Jan. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Dr. Keith Kantor, CEO of Service Foods, has been awarded the Natural Product Association’s (NPA) 2012 Industry Champion Award for his outstanding contributions to the success of the natural products industry.  

Dr. Kantor has been the CEO of Service Foods, a leading provider of high-quality, all natural food for home delivery, for nearly 20 years. During that time, Dr. Kantor has built a large team of dietitians, nurses, doctors, dentists and fitness experts who provide health education, proper nutrition and expert fitness training, along with a wide range of all natural meats, poultry, seafood and organic vegetables.

Additionally, Dr. Kantor is currently working with the NPA natural certification program to develop a standard for foods, concentrating his efforts on the meat and poultry subcommittee. As part of the committee, Dr. Kantor has traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress and their staffs to promote greater consumer access to and awareness of all natural products.

Dr. Kantor continued, saying,  “I do not believe it was a coincidence that a few days after being selected for this prestigious award, I was asked to form a Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel consisting of health experts. The panel has written a report outlining recommendations to reduce healthcare costs and issued it to leading Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his staff. It just shows how highly legislators in Washington think of the NPA.”

The Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel Report was also distributed to Congressman Rob Woodall (R-GA), Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA), Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Senator Saxby Chambliss 
(R-GA) and Senator and presidential candidate Rick Santorum (R-PA).

The winners of the 19th Annual NPA Awards for outstanding individuals and businesses will be honored for their achievements during the Natural Products Association MarketPlace 2012, NPA’s annual trade show and convention, to be held June 14-16 in Las Vegas.
