High Schools Compete For Opportunity To Attend National Academic WorldQuest in DC

Students from area high schools compete on 2/4/12 at Academic WorldQuest at UCONN/Stamford. An annual World Affairs Forum event, the winning team will compete nationally in Washington, DC on 4/21/12.

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Stamford, CT- More than 60 students from area high schools will compete on February 4th at Academic WorldQuest at UCONN/Stamford.  Sponsored annually by the World Affairs Forum, the winning team will compete with students from around the country at the National Academic WorldQuest in Washington, DC on April 21, 2012.

Tony Savino, News Director, AM 1490 WGCH Greenwich, will be the Game Master for the competition, which kicks off at 9:00 A.M. and concludes at noon.  The community is invited to attend and play along!  There is no charge to attend.

The ninth annual Academic WorldQuest is made possible through the generous support of Lead Sponsor MasterCard Worldwide, as well as the Arora Foundation and the Hageman Foundation.
