E!’s Ashlan Gorse Is Living Her Dream Job

Jan. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- LONG ISLAND, NY (January 2, 2012) - For the millions of jobs that are out there, Ashlan Gorse is one of the select few that has found her dream job, a television personality journalist. - Working on shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Today Show and Access Hollywood, she gradually made her way up media ladder.  She is now a correspondent and fill-in anchor on E! Entertainment Television.

In a recent interview with TheCelebrityCafe.com, Ashlan gives advice to the anyone wanting to follow in her line of work.

“I would definitely say to go to college and when you’re at school try to get into a program that specializes in journalism.”

Although Ashlan has to improvise from time to time, she doesn’t mind, she enjoys the challenge.  

“…reading a script off a teleprompter. That’s just kind of boring for me. It’s being live and being able to improvise and to literally entertain your viewers – that’s my favorite part.”

Ashlan enjoys working the red carpet where she gets to see and speak to the stars as they are in everyday life.

“Johnny Depp: There’s just something about that man. He’s so cool and kind of quirky and weird – and handsome!…So I have to say he’s always my favorite to talk to because he’s this huge, larger-than-life guy, but then when you interview him he’s really quiet and he talks really low and he kind of stands close to you. He’s just very bashful.”
