The HDTVGenie.com has announced a Call for Entries for Best HDTV Accessories of 2011

Dec. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- The HDTVGenie.com, featuring the trend-setting and highly anticipated HDTV Product Finder, is asking fellow members of the HDTV community to identify the top HDTV accessories of 2011. The unique contest identifies obscure HDTV accessories that are highly regarded among HDTV aficionados. The winning entries will be shared within the HDTV community. The first ever annual contest highlights the best add-ons over a wide range of categories, such as streaming media, mounting devices and cables.

When asked why the contest only focuses on lesser-known accessories, Chris Powers, company spokesman, recently said, “This is our first annual awards for the best HDTV accessories for the year of 2011 which will feature the top products TV viewers can get their hands on to greatly enhance their HDTV viewing experience. Since the criteria for making the final list is that the product be of the lesser known variety, this will help HDTV owners locate those hidden golden nuggets out there that will maximize their HDTV viewing experience. It also gives product manufacturers much needed exposure for lesser-known but high quality HDTV add-ons.”

All accessory entries must meet the follow the criteria:

•   They must be obscure
•   They must contribute to the HDTV community
•   They must contribute to the overall viewing experience.

The winning recipients will be featured both on the site and in the upcoming HDTV Genie online magazine, which is due to come out in early 2012.
The contest will create a much-needed awareness among other HDTV supporters, as well as highlighting the product manufacturers behind the accessories.
