BNY Mellon opens fourth office in Pune

U.S. Consul General for India, Peter Haas, cuts the ribbon to new Magarpatta City
office in opening ceremony today

PUNE, 2 December 2011 – U.S. Consul General for India, Peter Haas, officially opened BNY Mellon’s new office at Tower S3 in Magarpatta City, Pune in a ribbon cutting ceremony today, attended by distinguished guests and BNY Mellon employees.

“BNY Mellon’s expansion of its operations is a testament to its commitment to the Indian market and highlights the growing economic vibrance of Pune,” said U.S. Consul General for India, Peter Haas. “U.S. companies, like BNY Mellon with its growing presence in India, are symbolic icons of the U.S.-India strategic partnership and are central to fostering good will and closer co-operation between our two nations.”

The expansion into the state-of-the-art Tower S3 reflects BNY Mellon’s growing presence and long-term commitment to Pune. Spanning more than 179,000 sq ft over seven floors in the building, BNY Mellon’s new offices provide additional space and world class facilities to accommodate the company’s steady expansion.
