YP Tha Royalty was previously with two groups but decided to take the solo artist route.  He is learning more about himself through his music and finds this process of writing and recording cathartic.

YP Tha Royalty is proud to announce the release of this first mixtape titled “A Dedication to You”.  The single “Wake Up” leads the way with an up tempo beat that makes you body just move.  It begins with an attention grabber and moves on to a suspenseful tone with a hard beat.  This single is a calling call to this hot new hip hop artist stating that he’s arrived and to ‘wake up’ and listen to the music.  What audiences are listening to is the birth of a hip hop phenom whose ability to keep listeners attention is quite extraordinary.  His beats and rhythms along with lyrics and rhymes are hot, current, relatable and sustainable in this industry.
