NAILBA Charitable Foundation Elects Alan Protzel, The Marketing Alliance, as New Board Member

Dec. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- (St. Louis) – The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) Charitable Foundation announced today that Alan Protzel, director at The Marketing Alliance (TMA), was elected to its board of directors for a  three-year term beginning in 2012.

The NAILBA Charitable Foundation encourages volunteerism among NAILBA members and provides grant funds to worthy charitable organizations throughout the country that serve to enhance the quality of life for those less fortunate, with a special emphasis on children. Founded in 2002, the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in grants to worthy charities. The Charitable Foundation is dedicated to providing funds to small, well-run charities in neighborhoods that may not otherwise have access to additional funding.

Protzel has been involved with numerous charitable and community organizations in the St. Louis region for more than 30 years. His career in the life insurance and brokerage industries involves senior level positions in sales, management, marketing and product development.

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of NAILBA (http://www.nailba.org/), the premiere insurance industry organization promoting financial security and consumer choice through the use of independent brokerage distribution.

NAILBA Charitable Foundation Board members are nominated and voted on by both the Foundation Board and the NAILBA Board. There are a total of 12 board members.
