Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The European crisis has weakened the demand for private jet charter in Europe and around the globe.  This was precipitated by the crisis in Greece and Italy  which has spread throughout Europe.  The demand for private jets has decreased since the European economy has weakened and there seems to be no easy solution.  There has been much anxiety throughout the EuroZone that  other countries may falter as well.
Therefore, it is no surprise that the demand for luxury services such as private jet charter also has declined here in the USA and overseas.  This is especially true in Greece,  Italy, Germany and  France as they try desperately to avert a EuroZone crisis.  Ballooning debt and instability have weakened and gripped the Union and have increased the possibility of government default on their debt.  
This cataclysm is indicative of not enough growth, too much spending,  and high unemployment.  This sets a precedent for countries which lack enough capital and investment who in turn are linked  to borrowing in a global market place.  That is why the markets and world waits for the outcome of this crisis.  There is no easy solution and the stakes are high.  The steps countries have to make are called austerity measures.  But in reality they ultimately lower the standard of living for so many hard working people.  An example of this would be raising the retirement age or cutting the pay of Government workers.  Another example of this would be raising the cost of a college education.   The burden is financially put on the  people who can least afford it!
I see an opportunity for positive change in the world as a result of this once in a lifetime change.  It is of our own doing.  We simply spend more than we have and finance the rest.  This is different as we are now talking about governments who need a bailout.  It is no wonder why many private jets companies, operators and brokers wait for the ominous clouds over the economy to lift  so there will be a semblance of normalacy.
