Tommy Hilfiger Launch Store in London- Stylert.com

Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- American designer Tommy Hilfiger has launched on 1th of December 2011, his largest store in Knightsbridge-London. Tommy Hilfiger held a press conference, inviting some celebrities and customers to celebrate along with him.

The 8,288-square-foot Brompton Road store, near to luxury department store Harrods, is larger than their Westfield London and Regent Street stores, and will be the first to stock their men’s Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Collection in full.
Across two floors the new store will also stock men’s, women’s and children’s wear as well as Hilfiger Denim. Mr Tommy Hilfiger himself said: “As the birthplace of preppy style, England is very close to my heart. London rich in culture, history and art is the perfect surrounding for us to anchor our largest U.K. store.”

The designer explained that the core inspiration behind his iconic creations is rooted in UK fashion. "I've always been inspired by British style and Tommy Hilfiger clothing is routed in preppy, which is traditionally British," he told the press. "We have, however, reworked the rules of preppy, tweaking it and making it a little less formal. Preppy doesn't chase into a trend - it's routed in the classics and updated each season to keep it fresh and this is what I believe appeals to the British sensibility."

Celebrities who were attending the event were Hayley Atwell , Georgia May Jagger, Tali Lennox ,Ann Dexter Jones , Freddie FoxFreddie Fox, Marques Toliver, Douglas Booth and Dominic Cooper, Leigh Lezark , and Chloe Moretz .
