Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Nominations for the Tastiest Small Business Brand are currently being sought by TheWordChef.com.

Any small business in the world (20 employees or less) is eligible to win. Voting for nominees will begin in January 2012 with the winner announced the first week of February.

Nominees should have a brand that:

1. Gets attention - stands out from the rest as something totally unique.
2. Keeps attention - has a fascinating, yet relatable story and/or mission.
3. Creates loyalty - works hard to engage and build a community of repeat customers and brand evangelists.

How You Can Win, Too:

One nominator will be chosen at random to receive:

*$100 Restaurant.com gift certificate
*Free copy of Danny Iny’s new book “Engagement from Scratch: How Super-Community Builders Build a Loyal Audience and How You Can Do the Same“
*Free copy of Nicole Fende’s new book “How to be a Finance Rockstar” (due out in January 2012)
*Free One Year Pro Plus Membership on WPProBusiness.com (a $60 value)
*Free enrollment in our upcoming “Secret Sauce Workshop” (a $229 value)

The winner will be drawn at random and announced the first week of January 2012.  If the winner doesn't want or need the prize, it can be transferred to someone else of your choosing. No cash substitutes.

All credible nominations will be featured in a future blog post in January 2012 (Look for, “Is it Soup, Yet?”) and voting will commence for the Tastiest Small Biz Brand Award. You may nominate yourself, but nominations by 3rd parties will be given more weight in the final tally.

The Tastiest Small Biz Brand winner (as chosen by you, our readers) will receive honor, glory, prestige and yes…a $300 Restaurant.com gift certificate. Plus a fancy badge to display on their website, if they want some extra bling.

How to Submit a Nomination

You may nominate using any or all of the methods below. All nominations (you can submit up to 4 times) must be posted no later than midnight Pacific time, December 31, 2011:

1. Leave a comment at http://thewordchef.com/2011/12/branding-contest/ telling us who your favorite small business brand is and why. Include a link to their website AND a short description of WHY you feel they deserve the nomination. Then share this contest via Twitter.

2. Write a blog post about your nominee and go into more detail about what makes that business so “tasty” to you. Link back to this page in your post.
