Jack & Diane To Broadcast Popular Show "Nashville Unleashed" in 2012 Live From Loews

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- For nearly 4 years, music connoisseurs have been treated to a highly unique and remarkable concert series, featuring Nashville's professional performing songwriters. The brainchild of Jack & Diane, the show has taken on a life of its own and expanded from a local show at The Center For The Arts in Murfreesboro, TN, to a touring show for the majority of 2011.

Beginning January 14, 2012, the show will have a new home and will be broadcasting "LIVE FROM LOEWS", giving new viewers all over the country a chance to experience Nashville Unleashed with Jack & Diane.

Loews Vanderbilt Plaza is located at 2100 West End Avenue, Nashville. The show will take place from 7:30pm-9:00pm, the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, inside Loews' formal dining room, appropriately titled "Lyric". The show will be broadcasting in front of a live Nashville audience. A cash bar is available for ticket holders, as well the option to order from Loews impressive dinner menu.

A "listening" show which caught on quickly with couples especially, the venue backdrop has always been critically important to Jack & Diane.

"We've been incredibly particular about 'where' the show is presented. Our 2011 tour dates took us to some of the most beautiful venues around the country, from picturesque oceanfront panoramas to rustic grande halls in the mountains with a warm fire to perform by. So the pairing with the enchanting Loews Vanderbilt Plaza seemed to be right in line with our vision and we are excited about presenting the show at our new home." says Diane

Nashville Unleashed offers something for everybody with many distinct elements that set it apart. Among them, Jack & Diane are the ongoing hosts and performing songwriters, joined by 2-3 different Artists for each show, carefully selected from their special "Roster". The show takes place "in the round", with a retro circular stage set, made from items like Harley chrome mufflers and wood pieces from the original Opryland Hotel. Additionally, Jack accompanies all songwriters on lap steel, mandolin and guitar, while Diane offers hand-percussive accompaniment and harmony. This makes for more of an acoustic "band", adding an energy and spontaneity to the evening.

"It is vital to the quality of our show that our audience experiences top-notch talent. We have had the pleasure of building 10-year friendships with Artists we believe to be of the highest caliber, musically. They also exhibit mass appeal, strength of character and actually have 'something to say' in their songs. For Jack & I, the hope, humor and message each Artist brings to the listener can best be conveyed if the quality of the musicianship is pleasing to the ear and superior. We want the audience to be mesmerized and engaged from start to finish. At the end of every show, there is a unanimous audience surprise and disappointment, when I mention we are nearing the end. It sneaks up on us all, which is a good sign." says Diane.

All of the music performed on a Nashville Unleashed show is acoustic and original. Jack & Diane's songwriting style rides the line between blues and country. The vast and versatile influences of the Artists on their Roster also span genres, from the Delta blues, Muscle Shoals, Austin, Southern California, Kentucky bluegrass at times, maybe even some New Orleans jazz or R&B flavored styles…and yes, definitely some country!

Jack & Diane, along with their Roster of Artists, all have impressive career achievements. But that is NOT the focus of the show.

"I sincerely believe that although credentials and experience are a necessary part of what got us all here, the important thing now is to connect with people and give them something they can take away and apply to their own lives. These are hard times and people need to be inspired, rejuvenated, and to be able to shed their worries for a while." remarks Diane.
