PRLog -- It was raining hard when she reached her car. She struggled to get her key into the lock; fumbling because the rain on her glasses was making it difficult to see properly. Then a movement in the corner of her eye made her look up. A man wearing a ski mask was standing next to her, his hand curled around an army knife. She turned to run and collided with another attacker, whose arms imprisoned her against his chest. "Gotcha!" She screamed in terror, and then the world exploded as warm blood oozed down her face. She fell backwards, sinking into the blackness. When she woke up in hospital, the scene before her reminded her of another hospital bed, another law enforcement official, and another life. A life she'd given up in order to survive. But the pain of forever leaving her old self, her home, her career and most of all, the man she loved, had been for nothing. He'd found her again. And one person was already dead because of her. She stared up at the hospital ceiling and bit back the tears. She'd thought that her days of being hunted were over. But he was back, and this time she knew he wouldn't stop until she was dead.
