Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- RecyCoal is a UK based company operating worldwide that delivers sustainable solutions for previously mined and working mine sites. Using its own unique hybrid Dual Density Natural Medium process, RecyCoal removes coal from variable contaminated feed, and offers a complete service to restore sites to high environmental standards producing final landforms which are in keeping with the surrounding landscape.

The company has recently employed four apprentices at its Doncaster head office and has now appointed a further four trainee supervisors/managers. These new staff members will be undertaking a comprehensive initial 6 months’ training at RecyCoal’s Langton site on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.

RecyCoal’s Sales and Marketing Manager, David Stafford commented: “Because of the increase in demand for our service and coupled with our company’s strategic overseas expansion plan, we had a requirement for further staff at a managerial level.  Our four new members will complete a six month training programme before being deployed anywhere in a number of countries that we will be operating in.”

The four new members to the RecyCoal team include David Sparrow (joining in the New Year) and Pat Nulty, as Trainee Site Managers, Pat has previously 35 years Army experience. He has since worked with Corum Logistics and TH White.  Mark Bond and Anthony Haywood, have joined RecyCoal as Trainee Supervisors, both were part of the Royal Artillery and had toured Iraq and Afghanistan. With skills in fork truck engineering and communications, including the switch over from analogue to digital systems, the recruits have the expertise to deliver the requirements of the job to ensure RecyCoal continues to forge ahead with a sustainable future for the use of previously coal mined sites.

Each recruit will have a requirement to complete an intense six month training regime which covers RecyCoal operations, technical procedures, electrical engineering and health and safety.

David continued: “It just so happened that the best candidates were ex-armed forces personnel, their skills in working in challenging conditions and as part of a team perfectly matched the requirements for these demanding managerial roles.”

RecyCoal, specialises in the recovery of waste coal sites and is working on projects throughout the UK, including Langton (on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire), the United States, Australia and Eastern Europe.
