Cambridge Pre-U Short Course in Global Perspectives

Nov. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Global Perspectives is a one-year course that prepares students for positive engagement with our rapidly changing world. Through the study of global issues, students will develop their skills in research, critical thinking and communication. The course enables students to broaden their learning beyond their major subject specialisms.

The Short Course covers the Global Perspectives components of Cambridge Pre-U Global Perspectives and Research (GPR). We developed it in response to demand from schools wanting to offer Global Perspectives as a stand-alone one-year course. Prior to submitting the syllabus to Ofqual, we consulted with the Cambridge Pre-U Advisory Committee – a body made up of representatives from 20 UK schools – to make sure the course met schools' needs.
