Mike Carter Gives Thanks for Humphreys, Garrison and Elmer – Reaches Out to Kinder Defectors

Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- ST. CHARLES, MO, November 23, 2011 – Mike Carter while celebrating Thanksgiving with his family tomorrow will, among other things, be giving thanks for the brave actions of David Humphreys, Tim Garrison and Missouri Representative Kevin Elmer.  Together, these three influential men played a pivotal role in Peter Kinder’s inability to run for Missouri Governor.  

These men could likely succeed in forcing Kinder out of yet another race – Lt. Governor.

“At one point this year, Representative Elmer appeared to ask Kinder to step down immediately from the Lieutenant Governorship; I am publicly asking that all three of these men use their considerable influence to, again, VERY PUBLICLY insist that Kinder not run for an irresponsible third term as Lt. Governor,” said Carter.   “If they would not stand for him as Governor, why in the heck would they be okay with him as Lt. Governor?”

Carter’s camp is asking the press to once again reach out to these men and see if they are willing to band together and demand Kinder not run in the 2012 election for any office.  It is unclear whether media perception of public interest would deem this “newsworthy” enough to warrant such an inquiry.



Carter is an Independent-minded Republican who has cast votes for Ross Perot and Ron Paul. He is a former judge, real estate attorney, Senior Lecturer for the University of Missouri, corporate counsel, and Director at the St. Louis Board of REALTORS.
