Everblue Training Institute adds Corporate Sustainability to its Course Catalog

Nov. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Everblue Training Institute is excited to announce the debut of its Certified Sustainability Manager training. This course trains individuals on the concrete steps they can take to impact their business’ bottom line. Upon completion of the course, students complete a proprietary exam and achieve one of the only sustainability certifications in the industry.

The reality is that few exist. Everblue’s corporate sustainability training course introduces students to the regulatory guidelines that make a corporate sustainability strategy successful. Students enrolled in the course will learn to identify and measure their company or product’s environmental impact and determine how to conduct a carbon footprint assessment.

Key concepts on the syllabus include biosphere impacts, life cycle assessments, GRI reporting, and environmental indicators. Everblue’s corporate sustainability class concludes with a final exam, awarding students with passing grades the official title of Certified Sustainability Manager.

Graduates of this course can go back to their businesses and organizations with the confidence and knowledge to implement a corporate sustainability strategy while also educating staff, vendors, and partners on environmental stewardship.

This corporate sustainability course is available via live classroom format as well as live online webinar. In the classroom setting, students participate in three days of boot-camp style training. They benefit from face-to-face interaction and networking opportunities. Students in the online webinar training participate in the same 24 hours of content, all of which is led by a live, interactive instructor. Online training allows students to learn at their own pace and take in the material from the comfort of their own home.
