The Wisconsin Philharmonic Presents Joyeux Noel: Christmas in Paris

The Wisconsin Philharmonic will be joined by choirs from Arrowhead High School and University Lake School to present its annual Holiday concert, a longstanding tradition in the Waukesha community.

Nov. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- The Wisconsin Philharmonic returns to their traditional home of Carroll University’s Shattuck Auditorium for their Holiday Pops Concert, Joyeux Noel: Christmas in Paris, on Tuesday, December 6th at 7:30pm.  The concert, sponsored by Century Fence and Waukesha State Bank, features classics such as “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah while incorporating the styles of some of the greatest French composers.  From Faure’s “Sanctus” to Debussy’s “Clair de lune,” the French classics will transport the audience to the streets of Paris as they celebrate the holiday season.

Wisconsin Coachlines will be providing a free shuttle service to and from two designated parking lots near the Carroll campus.  For a map and directions to the shuttle parking lots, or for more information on general parking, visit www.wisconsinphilharmonic.org, select the December 6th concert and click on “Parking Info.”

Joined by the choirs of Arrowhead High School and University Lake School, this concert is a family favorite from year to year.  Children 4 and under are free and student tickets start at $15.  Adult prices range from $25-$35.   Call 262-547-1858 or visit their secure online box office to purchase tickets.

The Philharmonic asks that everyone please bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation to the US Marine’s annual Toys for Tots drive as we seek to provide a Merry Christmas for families in need.
