Girbau presents new ironers and folders at the Host trade fair in Milan

Nov. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- At the 2011 Host trade fair, held in Milan from the 21st to 25th of October, Girbau presented laundry solutions for the hotel sector, in the form of two new ironers and folders.

On the one hand, with its PB/PBP Series wall-type strap ironers, the group has shown that it is possible to use energy and space more cost effectively by improving ironing productivity and quality.

On the other, the FT-Lite folder once again reflects the ethos of energy saving and flexibility that the group pursues. Capable of folding between 600 and 700 items of linen per hour, the folder has aroused the curiosity of hoteliers searching for ways to cut laundry costs without reducing the quality of the finish.

The Girbau stand also exhibited solutions for different production needs in washing and drying.

Girbau has consolidated its position as the only company presenting equipment for heavy-duty purposes at Host. As the director of the Italian subsidiary, Massimo Scatto insisted: "Host was a fair we couldn’t miss out on. Now more than ever we must be at the hospitality entrerprises’ side to offer solutions that enable them to provide an added quality to their clients and reduce their laundry costs."

The Host fair in Milan brought together more than 125,000 professional visitors, of which 34% were international attendees coming from 153 different countries. This year the number of visitors from the Middle East and Asia has increased significantly.
