FIU Worlds Ahead Graduate at College of Business Commencement Ceremony

Nov. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Florida International University looks for academic excellence and human-interest stories about FIU graduates for recognition during commencement or placement in news media stories. Students that have been honored in the past as Worlds Ahead Graduates include:

· Students who have won awards or special recognition for their academic work or community service.

· Students, particularly doctoral or honor students, who have completed groundbreaking or unusual research projects.

· Students who have overcome great personal or physical obstacles to complete their education.

· Students who started their own businesses or were very involved in service organizations while enrolled at the university.

· Students who have already landed great jobs after graduation.

· Students with unusual stories to tell.

All nominations must be either submitted or endorsed by a member of the faculty.
