Volunteering at the Broward Outreach Center

Nov. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Come help Broward Outreach Centers feed the homeless and hungry! By serving meals and having a conversation with a homeless person you are able to make a significant impact. Just this past Thanksgiving over 400 volunteers served 2,000 Thanksgiving meals to the homeless and hungry of Miami-Dade and Broward County. The homeless and hungry families of South Florida were treated to live entertainment, haircuts, showers and foot care and washing provided by volunteers.

The Miami Rescue Mission/Broward Outreach Centers realize there are many families and individuals in our community who cannot afford a place to live or food on their table. In an effort to help homeless men and women off the street, there will also be intake tables that help inform South Florida’s homeless population of the programs offered by the Miami Rescue Mission/Broward Outreach Centers to those homeless who need help.

Florida Public Speaking is an organization that brings together speaker throughout Florida and provides them a platform where they could network, exchange ideas and take advantage of opportunities.
