Administrator Appointed for New Orthopedic Recovery and Post-Acute Center

Nov. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Shorewood, Ill.  – Annette Borcky, RN, has been appointed administrator of Alden Estates of Shorewood, specializing in short-term orthopedic recovery and post-acute services. Borcky will provide leadership at the facility, which is opening in Spring 2012.
   “Annette is a wonderful asset to Alden and is perfect for our new, premier recovery center,” says Robert J. Molitor, chief operating officer. “She and the staff will be setting a new standard for providing individualized care and services.”
   Borcky, who was hired in 2010, has been the Administrator at Alden Des Plaines until now. She is now busy hiring and training all staff, implementing a restaurant dining program and overseeing the final phase of construction. She is also responsible for ensuring the facility’s short-term orthopedic recovery program and post-acute services meet their outcome goals.
   “We have a winning combination of an aggressive therapy program with physical, occupational and speech therapies offered daily and an environment conducive to recovery,” says Borcky. “As a nurse, I place particular emphasis on making sure our patients stay on track with their therapy goals and have successful outcomes.”
   In addition to being a registered nurse (RN), Borcky is a licensed nursing home administrator.
