Denwa Communications nominated for Technology Business of the Year 2011
Denwa have once again battled through 2011 with high growth and superb customer retention, EN Magazine have shortlisted them for Technology Business of the Year as a result.
Owned and operated by Rob Scott (32), Denwa has a reputation for delivering high standards of service and quality products such as Mitel phone systems, Call Recording and Call Reporting software. Rob says ' Our market is small business, typically under 250 employees but as small as 4'. The company is headquartered in Lancashire and services companies across the UK.
Over the next 3 years Denwa plans to grow its customer base by offering the latest in telecoms technology including cloud based telephony, telecoms disaster recovery solutions and remote working solutions. Denwa is an exciting company to work for, they recently won 'The one to watch' award at this year's Lancashire Business View 'Young 'uns' awards.
Rob also says 'its tough out there for small businesses at the moment, companies are not spending like they did so we need to demonstrate the return on investment as much as possible. Denwa's telephone systems offer a clear ROI for small company's focusing on customer service and staff productivity.'
Making an acute business decision before the recession hit, Rob recognised that not all businesses would require a new system or an upgrade when their focus was simply to get through the predicted difficult times ahead. As a direct result, Denwa also became a BT wholesaler with a focus on saving businesses money through their phone packages and it was this savvy business decision that ensured they rose from the recession stronger and which has elevated Denwa to the enviable position it holds now.
Denwa doubled its turnover in 2009 and again in 2010. Denwa has set itself further challenges for growth and expansion for 2012 with a business plan looking at 50% growth in revenue.
Providing the best, most appropriate and cost effective telephony solution is of paramount focus to Denwa and in order to do this, the team has to be fully and regularly trained to keep a pace of the ever-changing market in which they operate. At the core of the Denwa ethos is therefore its commitment to its team, their skill set and their personal development. As a service provider, it is imperative that the team providing that service, whether an engineer in the field or a telephone sales operator keeping the wheels in motion at head office, are all supported in every way.
