CITY FOREX Sponsors the 10th Annual Hong Kong Cricket Festival 2011

Nov. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Organisers of the 10th Hong Kong Cricket Festival today announced that the leading foreign exchange company, City Forex, would title sponsor this year's annual club cricket sixes Festival, being staged at Kai Tak Cricket Ground on 25-27 November.

"We're delighted that City Forex have agreed to sponsor this year's Festival," said Tournament Director Brad Tarr. "It's promising to be a great line-up of teams this year and with the support of City Forex we're looking forward to staging another wonderful tournament for our local and overseas teams and supporters."

This year's Festival will be staged at Kai Tak Cricket Ground over 3 days from 25th to 27th November. Spectators are welcome and entry to the ground is free.

First staged in 2002 at Hong Kong Cricket Club, the ICC award winning Festival attracts club teams from around the world to compete against local sides in an 18 team tournament featuring the popular cricket sixes format. Sides from Australia, Shanghai, Thailand, Singapore, India and UK are expected to fly in for the weekend. As well as three days of cricket on the site of the former Kai Tak airport, the Festival also boasts a number of parties and social functions as players, officials and supporters celebrate the Asian Cricket Sixes Tour ethos of 'friendship through cricket."
