By: Macmillan Cancer Support The survey of 2,000 people also revealed that seven in ten (70%) have not even written a will or made plans for what they'll leave behind. To support the launch of 'Will Aid Month', Macmillan Cancer Support (http://www.macmillan.org.uk/ Nine in ten (87%) are aware that they can leave a gift to charity in their will however only 38% would. By raising awareness of the ways in which people can leave gifts to charities in their wills we want to overcome these so that will-writing is discussed more openly and honestly. Gifts in wills are so important for Macmillan, large or small every gift makes a difference, we couldn’t do what we do without them."
