FXB International Announces New CEO of FXB India Suraksha

Mamta Borgoyary has been appointed as the new CEO of FXB India Suraksha, the India chapter of FXB International, effective immediately.

Oct. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- New York, NY – Mamta Borgoyary has been appointed as the new CEO of FXB India Suraksha, the India chapter of FXB International, effective immediately. Ms. Borgoyary has over eighteen years of experience in the development sector, including experience in health, education, water and sanitation, rural livelihoods and natural resource management.

Ms. Borgoyary was promoted to CEO after working as the Chief Operating Officer for FXB India Suraksha. Prior to joining FXB, Ms. Borgoyary served as a Senior Program Officer and Coordinator with WII in New Delhi. She has also worked as a Research Associate for the Tata Energy and Resource Institute, a Resource Economist for Development Alternatives, and a Research Assistant with the Institute of Economic Growth. Throughout her career Ms. Borgoyary has collaborated with several multi and bi lateral donor organizations, including DFID, UNDP, World Bank, and the Ford Foundation. She is accomplished in monitoring impact assessments, social science research methods, and monitoring and evaluation. She also has several publications to her credit.  

Ms. Borgoyary holds an MPhil in Agriculture Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, an MA in Economics from Banaras Hindu University, and a BA in Economics from Banaras Hindu University.
