James A. Littlepage Selected as 2011 Five Star Wealth Manager

5280 Magazine, Colorado Biz and Five Star Professional have worked in collaboration to announce the winners who rated highest in overall satisfaction.

The research team targeted consumers in the greater Denver area, asking them if they had experience working with a wealth manager. The consumers that participated in the study were asked to provide the name of their wealth manager and they were asked to rate the wealth manager on a variety of key criteria such as integrity, communication and customer service.

The surveys were mailed out to one in four high-net-worth households which amounted to more than 26,500 households and more than 8,500 registered financial services professionals in the Denver area. Additionally, another 10,000 surveys were sent to subscribers of 5280 Magazine and Colorado Biz.

In a culmination of the highest ranking wealth managers for 2011, the survey information was collected and scored, which subsequently produced the list of 2011 Denver Five Star Wealth Managers. Only 7% or fewer of the wealth managers in the given market are allowed to qualify for the Five Star award.

For each client that was surveyed, they were asked to evaluate only the wealth managers with whom they had dealt with intimately and each peer respondent was asked to evaluate only those wealth managers with whom they had known through their own personal experience as well.

The client/respondents were asked to evaluate their wealth managers on nine criteria including: customer service, integrity, knowledge/experience, communication, value for fee charged, whether the wealth manager meets client financial objectives, post sale service, quality of recommendations and their overall satisfaction.

Peer responsants were asked to evaluate wealth managers on three criteria including: integrity, knowledge/expertise and their overall reputation.
