Daresbury Science Park, England tenants FaceTec Ltd and Webcomms Ltd have joined forces to develop and publish for iPhone Halloween Booth, released into the Apple App Store with immediate effect.

Halloween Booth uses Face-it! a patented face recognition and personalisation platform, which enables the automated recognition and personalisation of faces.

Halloween Booth lets users upload an image from their iPhone camera, camera roll or Photo Library and choose one of four Hallowen masks which are automatically and realistically painted onto the uploaded face. Users can share their scary faces with friends via email, Twitter and Facebook. Face-it! is the easiest to use and most realistic face and feature recognition technology on the market.
