Icom’s Cost Effective SRP Repeater Series

Oct. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Icom is pleased to announce new versions of its cost effective 2 way repeater series. The SRP Repeater Series now uses a combination of two of Icom’s latest IC-F5012/IC-F6012 mobile radios and can be used as VHF to VHF, UHF to UHF, or cross band repeater.

Designed to enhance coverage of a two-way radio system, Icom SRP repeaters will instantly retransmit received audio without any noticeable delay. All repeaters in this series provide a stable 25 watt output power allowing a radio scheme to be boosted beyond the range of normal Private Mobile Radio (PMR) networks.

The SRP Repeater Series comes complete with housing (including 240V PSU) to mount the repeater. The SRP is incredibly flexible so that you can install the repeater in a vehicle, an office, or a temporary location.

For repeaters with extra features and capabilities, the IC-FR5100/FR6100 digital/analogue repeater series and TRP transportable repeater series are available.
