Daugherty Insurance Services announces two new managers

Oct. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Kevin Daugherty has been named Director of the Construction Division at Daugherty Insurance Services.  

Kevin graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2004 and began his career at Worldwide Facilities, Inc. in Los Angeles as a surplus lines insurance broker that worked directly with surplus lines carriers, such as Lloyd’s of London and Aspen Specialty.  Kevin joined the Daugherty Insurance Services team in 2008 and focuses on producing new business in the construction industry.  Kevin currently holds the CISC designation, which stands for Certified Insurance Specialist in Construction.

Ryan Daugherty has been named Executive Vice President of the Risk Management Department at Daugherty Insurance Services. Ryan will work with Director of Risk Management, Jon Challoner.

Ryan Daugherty graduated from the University of Pacific and began his career in San Diego as an insurance broker where he was dual licensed, holding Property & Casualty and Life & Health designations.  He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, where he was Student Bar Association President and Co-Editor of the student publication.  While in law school, Ryan interned with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office and prosecuted over 50 bench trials.
