Steps’ Lisa Scott Lee Signs Exclusively with Bareface Entertainers

Oct. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- October 11, 2011 Dubai, UAE Bareface, Dubai’s leading talent agency has announced today that it has recently signed an exclusive deal to represent Lisa Scott Lee, best known for her five years with the UK pop group Steps, which came together in 1997 and had 14 top 10 singles in the UK.

About Lisa Scott Lee: After training at the prestigious ‘Italia Conti’ Academy of Performing Arts in London, Lisa successfully auditioned from thousands of hopefuls to become a member of the British Pop Group and phenomenon ‘STEPS’, achieving 4 No. 1 Albums and 15 Top 5 hits – a record then only bettered by the Beatles. Steps sold out 5 record breaking Arena Tours, playing to over 1 Million fans which earned them a Brit Award for ‘Best Selling Live Act’. They achieved world wide record sales of over 18 Million. 

Lisa then signed her solo record deal with Universal and went on to release 3 Top 15 hits, including the self-penned ‘Lately’ which reached No. 6 in the Pop Charts and No.1 in the Dance Charts. Lisa was approached by MTV and offered her own fly-on-the-wall series. Lisa and her family were filmed for over a year and the result was ‘Totally Scott-Lee’.  It was a huge hit for MTV, beating the US ‘Newly Weds’ in ratings and was shown in many countries around the world. Lisa has also appeared on and presented numerous TV and Radio shows across the UK and Europe. She presented a documentary for Living TV about ‘Celebrity Mums’ and had her own column in one of the UK’s biggest magazine’s ‘Closer’.
Lisa starred in the second series of ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ which brought along the exciting challenge of learning to ice skate! She was coached by legends ‘Torvill and Dean’ and was proud to be a part of the first ever nationwide 40 date Arena Tour with Dancing on Ice, adding another skill to her resume and marking her 12th anniversary in the business. 

Lisa was thrilled to have an acting cameo in the Christmas Special of the hit TV show ‘Extras’ along with Ricky Gervias. It was screened both in America, the UK and worldwide.  
Lisa has also performed over 1000 solo shows with her well known set-list and dancers touring Europe, China and Australia with her ‘Step back in time show’. 

Lisa is currently filming with her band mates Steps for an exciting new documentary series for Sky Living which will be screened in the UK later this year to co-inside with the release of their 5th album entitled ‘The Ultimate collection’. 

Lisa moved to Dubai earlier this year with her family and is excited about being a part of the TV and Radio industry here. Along with her 15 years experience in entertainment, presenting and media, she’s a familiar face that will appeal to the many expats living here in Dubai.
