By: Sue Hanson Thomas brings with him over 40 years of experience in the K-12 Education Arena, the previous seven being spent with Promethean Inc. While at Promethean Inc, Thomas rose to the Head of Global Training Delivery, a rainmaker in orchestrating the development of nearly 400 business partners and customer-facing staff on 4 continents with the alignment of product training and marketplace positioning. In the time since leaving Promethean Inc, Thomas has consulted with a number of technology companies in planning & implementing their respective global training strategies. “Technology has become an integral part of instruction within our classrooms and will continue to positively impact the learners of today. By providing our educators with solid, pedagogically sound professional learning opportunities to support the effective integration of these tools, that impact will grow exponentially.” Sublime Learning CEO, Jonathan Mann comments, “His experience speaks for itself, throughout his career, Mr. Thomas has been at the forefront of integrating technology into instruction, and just as important, laying the groundwork through training to do so effectively.” Prior to his tenor at Promethean Inc. Thomas held numerous positions within Public Education, first as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. As a Building Administrator, Thomas’ efforts with technology integration earned him the Georgia Governor’s Award for Innovation. Following his work as a Principal, Thomas went on to serve as the Director of Instructional Technology for Fulton County Schools, and the Georgia Department of Education.
