Fashion Finds Its Fix on WGHP - FOX 8

Oct. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- GREENSBORO – Local news station WGHP – FOX 8 morning news will be the home of a new segment called, “Fashion Fix” hosted by fashion and beauty publicist, YC of The YCB Agency will debut Friday, October 21, 2011 at 9:30 am, and will be moving to the fourth Thursday of each month starting November 2011 in the same time slot.

The Fashion Fix segment will illustrate for FOX 8 viewers how to achieve certain looks in fashion, seasonal trends, looks for less, and will also discuss celebrity fashion, including the best and worst looks on the Red Carpet! YC is no newbie to local television. She was featured this past summer on FOX 8 for a month long segment called, “Fashion Friday.” “I am beyond excited for this opportunity. To be able to share fashion tips and ideas with the viewing audience is a dream come true,” said YC.

YC will partner with various retailers in the Triad area for each segment, pulling the latest fashion garments and accessories from their stores. Previously, she has shown items from Rebecca & Co., Monkees of Irving Park, Dillard’s, Simply Megs, Ann Taylor, and many more. She will also work with celebrity makeup artist, Shavon Lyon of Shavon Lyon, LLC as the official makeup artist for Fashion Fix.

Fashion Fix fits in perfectly with the new extended hours of FOX 8 morning news from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The 9:00 AM hour consists of four female anchors. “I am devoted to making sure that the viewers are fashionably wowed and entertained every month,” says YC. “I’m so grateful to the FOX 8 staff for giving me this opportunity to share fashion. Besides, fashion is fun to watch and definitely fun to talk about!”
