Hands-free wireless communication is also a very important feature included with the BMW Assist.  With support from Bluetooth, the driver can search through contacts and dial numbers from their steering wheel, radio, Assist display screen or through a speech recognition system.  A microphone transmits the driver speaking, while listening to the other party through the speakers.
